Works been physically overwhelming this past week (is my excuse), so all I’ve done is decide on transmission tunnel dimensions.
Thanks to every body’s input about how to shape the tunnel, I went with the most straightforward beam setup possible that still fit a seat. The kink will be braced, an inner structure will be added that closely follows the trans to allow for foot room while not compromising the main structure.
E ventually the bars running under the trans will need to be cut out for drivetrain accessibility, in its place a bolt in boxed X brace will be made. I’m thinking something using angle iron to make good contact with the chassis, 3/4" tube for the brace, and at least 8 bolt points, 4 under the floor 4 to the tunnel walls.

I’ve always thought a KLDE v6 engine would be a smokin awesome thing on a locost. Just purely for the noise enjoyment. That’s gonna be a winner when your done.
